About

We are I love Praag / I Love Krakow, a young Dutch, English, and German tour operator offering walking tours through the open-air museums of Prague, Krakow, Brno, Cesky Krumlov and Bratislava. Born from a love of these European capitals, we operate as a club of the most experienced local guides — many with more than ten years of guiding in Prague, Krakow or Bratislava and backgrounds with the largest tour operators. After feeling out of place at those companies, our guides joined I Love Praag to take on an interesting new challenge and share deep local knowledge on every walk.

Our guides are among the most experienced in their cities, with many having more than ten years of guiding. Several previously worked for the largest tour operators before joining our team.

Why did your guides join I Love Praag?

Many felt out of place at large tour companies and sought an interesting new challenge. They formed a club at I Love Praag to share their expertise and run tours on their own terms.

De gids Alaa deed een aantal stops aan die we anders niet hadden tegengekomen. Zijn uitleg was kort. Door er zelf naar te vragen wisten we dat hij niet afkomstig was van Praag maar er wel woont. Er was weinig interactie met de groep. Voor de toer start even elkaar voorstellen is altijd leuk zodat je dan weet waar iedereen vandaan komt

We hebben einde van de middag met huig een tour gedaan. Hij heeft alles goed verteld en veel achtergrond informatie gegeven. We zijn bij veel bezienswaardigheden geweest (bijv. De Charles brug, de kerstmarktjes, universiteit, de klok, de markt van de beste typische koekjes en nog meer). We konden alles vragen en hij had overal antwoord op. Echt een aanrader!

Onze gids Julka was zeer goed op de hoogte van de geschiedenis van Praag, werd ook met veel enthousiasme overgebracht. We waren een kleine groep dus alles verliep zeer vlot! Een aanrader!
